Served with the Washington DC Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) for over 29 years, ascending from Patrol Officer to the rank of Inspector. Collaborated with multiple agencies within the MPD, and partnered with various state and federal agencies, including the FBI, USSS, US Capitol Police, DEA, ATF, and ICE. Through these collaborative efforts, he successfully mitigated and/or controlled major demonstrations and events in Washington DC. Formerly, an Adjunct Professor with the University of Maryland, teaching various Criminal Justice topics. He has been the recipient of numerous commendations and awards, to include Commander of the Year and G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time) Award by the Fraternal Order of Police. Obtained his Master of Science in Management from Johns Hopkins University.
