More than 30 years of law enforcement and public safety experience. Served as a Police Officer with the Fairfax County Police Department; Security Assistant with the Fairfax County Public Schools; Pretrial Release Officer with the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners; and Code Enforcement Officer with the Palm Beach County Planning and Zoning Board. Currently operating as a Public Safety Consultant and Trainer, providing subject matter expertise in topic areas including community engagement, community policing, de-escalation and crisis intervention methods, implicit bias and awareness, interviewing and intelligence gathering techniques, and tactical and strategic police operations.
