Creative and pragmatic police professional with a proven record of performance and leadership. Over 25 years as a law enforcement officer with the Bloomington Police Department, Bloomington, Minnesota, where he earned his way to the ranks of Commander, Deputy Chief, and Interim Police Chief. During his tenure as Interim Police Chief, he focused efforts on community engagement during periods of national and local civil unrest. He also served as a Police Officer with the Tallahassee Police Department (Florida), and as a Professional Staff member with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Minneapolis, MN. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL, and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
