Extensive law enforcement experience and proven track record of community engagement and impact. In his current role as Chief of Police for the Apex Police Department, Apex, NC, he has served as the lead bridge builder with civic groups, businesses, schools, formal and informal community leaders, and a host of other stakeholders. In his former role as Chief of Police, Ferguson Police Department, Ferguson, MO, he oversaw reform efforts outlined in a Federal Consent Decree with the DOJ. He obtained his Master of Public Safety Administration degree from Columbus State University, Columbus, GA. His professional affiliations include IACP and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
