Over 30 years as a law enforcement officer with the Boston Police Department, where he served as a Patrol Officer, Chaplain, Curriculum Writer, and Lead Instructor. He created and directs the Boston Teen Police Academy, which is the longest standing community outreach program at the Boston Police Academy. Currently serves as the Lead Use of Force and Defensive Tactics Instructor at the Boston Police Academy, providing ‘Police Use of Force’ training to various community groups, Boston City Councilors, the Suffolk County DA’s office, and the Boston Police Internal Affairs Division.
